Senior candidates with min 5 + years experience
. Extensive experience with system administration
. Experience managing Apache with PHP
. Experience with database administration and MySQL
. Expert knowledge of Linux
. Experience with designing scalable server architectures including an understanding of load balancing, database replication, and performance monitoring.
. Understanding of SSL certificate management
. Experience configuring firewalls and proxies
. Strong overall knowledge of networking
. Programming experience with SQL and scripting languages
. Understanding of SMTP server configurations
. Willing to work outside of business hours on short notice

Additional:

. Experience with network administration
. Programming experience with PHP, C++, Perl, Python, or other similar languages
. Experience configuring MyISAM and InnoDB engines, including migrating between these.
. Experience migrating MySQL databases to and from other types
. Experience with distributed databases
. Experience with McAfee products
