SAP BPC CONSULTANT

Position: SAP BPC CONSULTANT

Location: CHICAGO, IL

Duration: 6 + months

Job Description:

Skills Needed:

1. Minimum of one year of SAP BPC or Hyperion Planning experience. BPC is preferred
2. Resource with STRONG Finance and/or accounting background –minimum of 6 years in Finance / Accounting
3. Should have good Financial Planning experience,
4. Excellent communication skills
5. Excellent Customer engagement skills
6. Past experiences with FICO/New GL/PCA/BW is a plus
7. Ability to create crisp written communications and use of Power Point slides

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Engaging with finance and business users
2. Overseeing the financial planning process
3. Managing the planning and system calendar and establishing a rhythm of the business for client as it relates to BPC 7.5 NW
4. Guiding the internal BPC admin and the other BPC related resources
5. Gathering requirements and understanding the design for new functionality.
6. Working to schedule any service packs, patches, etc. with finance and the system support teams
7. Overseeing the security administration for new users
8. Ensuring and providing training to new users
9. Providing level 2 change management approval and acting as the liaison for management on change control activities
